Comparison and contrast.
The Aztec, the Inca, and the Mayan were all great civilizations. The Aztec were definently the most violent, but also the most vigorous. The Inca controlled a vast amount of land, almost the whole Andes mountain range. Of course they're the geniuses, who are the Maya. In these three paragraphs I will compare these three great civilizations.
The Aztecs had some of the most brutal worriers. Every male was trained for battle starting at a young age, so when they had a fully waged war, you can imagine just the mass of their army would deter any apposing force. It is AMAZING that they were able to achieve top dog status. The Aztec were extreme sacrificers, and up to 100 people would die everyday (mostly prisoners).
The Inca had some of the most beautiful citys ever build, such as Machu Pitcchu. They were all nestled in the Ande Mountain range in South America. Peru renowned as the land of the Incas, has an area of 1,285,216 square kms. Their territory was pretty much down the left side of South America. They had amazing road systems that ran through their cities, and had messengers who had a relay system where one would run fast for a mile or so with a message then tell the message to the next waiting messenger. This was a genius way to get messages around. Their king was a very kind ruler who did not have slaves and believed that he should control his people with kindess and fairness. The Inca were a great civilization.
The Maya were very smart people, who even predicted the end of the world (so far we're still here). They finished a form of writing that was previously incomplete, and a calendar as well. They were very talented astronomers and had star watching towers, perched on top of magnificent building, designed by expert architects. The Maya were a well rounded society and had skill in almost everything they did.
